Hello group, on my Karoq the message appeared with the battery discharged in the key. I replaced according to the procedure described in the manual with the same CR2032 Panasonic battery model, but opening the car from the button on the remote control no longer works. Starting the car is ok, but I can only open it with the physical key. Opening your fuel flap. On every Škoda, the fuel flap is opened by pushing in on the left side of the fuel flap cover, closest to the tailgate. This will pop open the cover allowing you to unscrew the fuel cap, but make sure your vehicle is unlocked! There are no switches in the vehicle itself that will open the fuel flap.
As a backup it's possible to open the driver's door using the physical key and, even with a dead battery in the fob (apparently) the car should start if you hold the key against the start/stop button. The manual (page 192) shows how to change the battery - confidence needed as the cover needs quite a shove to flip off.

This morning I started my car in the drive to defrost the iced up windows. I then wanted to leave the engine running but lock the car and take the keys back indoors.

One-touch is the facility to fully close the window by lifting and releasing the switch once. To reset the one-touch facility, fully close the window and release the switch. Doing this is via the usual key-in-door, hold in open position until windows are fully open, then hold key in locked position until the windows are fully up. This is described in the car owners manual (or can be downloaded from links on this forum).

You get the function of memory on the seat buttons for the seat and mirror function, not sure about the memory to the keys though, might be part of the £35 you pay because I think and I might be wrong you get the extra key.
